Legislation to allow for e-scooters and e-bikes on Irish roads could be in place by Christmas.
It's after the government yesterday approved a bill which legislates for their use - as they're currently illegal.
Tax, insurance and driving licences won't be needed, under the new law.
The bill will now go to the Oireachtas for approval.
