Businesses in South Dublin are preparing a legal challenge to Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council's plans for a new cycle route.
The local authority plans to bring in a one way system on Deansgrange Road to facilitate a two way cycle track.
According to the Irish Times, the Deansgrange Village Business Group says it will cause "chaos on a busy trading thoroughfare" and has proposed an alternative route.
The council says it has assessed the group's suggestion but have ultimately decided to go with its initial plan.
