The numbers in Kildare are less than Wicklow and Meath combined.
The three counties make up the Mid East Region where 49 families, including 110 children, were homeless last month.
Figures from the Department of Housing show 7,991 people were registered as homeless nationwide last month - marking a slight decrease on the figures from April.
