The draw for the semi-finals of the Tailteann Cup has pitted Wicklow against Limerick, the side who pipped the Garden County to Division Three promotion earlier this year.
Local schools are being recognised for achievements in Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths.
Wicklow town has climbed into the top 10 in the latest Irish Businesses Against Litter survey. Out of 40 towns and cities, it ranked 9th and is deemed cleaner than European norms.
The delivery of 106 units of social housing in West Wicklow appears to be up in the air.
