Dancing with the Stars producer, Larry Bass, has resigned from the RTE board - after just eight weeks, because, he said, his appointment 'upset a number of people'.
Concerns were raised about a conflict of interest, as he's also an independent producer.
He has formally told the Arts Minister, Catherine Martin, he's quitting the role.
