The Labour Parliamentary Party heads to Athy in Kildare today for its annual September think-in ahead of the new Dáil term.
The Party is buoyed after Ivana Bacik won the Dublin-Bay South by-election in July.
It says a number of key areas will dominate its political agenda over the coming months including the launch of a Renters' Rights campaign.
The Green Party will also hold its pre-Dáil conference later today.
The gathering in Dublin will be a one-day event.
