A man handed a life sentence for murdering his partner’s mother, whose remains were found scattered in parts of Wicklow, has lodged an appeal against his conviction.
Kieran Greene beat Patricia O’ Connor to death with a hurley on the 29th of May in 2017 at the home they shared at Mountain View Park in South Dublin.
Her dismembered remains were later found scattered across the Wicklow Mountains.
According to the Irish Times, an appeal will also be heard by Keith Johnston against his conviction and sentence.
He was one of four others who assisted in the attempted cover-up afterwards.
