Justice Committee To Consider If Dying With Dignity Bill Could Face Down Legal Challenge

The Oireachtas Justice Committee will debate whether the proposed Dying with Dignity Bill is legal at a meeting this afternoon.

The committee has been given legal advice which questions the constitutionality of the bill.
If passed it would allow for assisted suicide for people with a terminal illness.
