Jazz Festival Comes To Bray On May Bank Holiday Weekend.

Bray Jazz Festival will take place on Friday-Sunday, 3rd to 5th May

This year’s 23rd Bray Jazz Festival will host a first ever Bray visit by iconic American jazz pianist Ethan Iverson, welcome back celebrated New York trumpeter Dave Douglas, and stage performances by three women band leaders at the forefront of contemporary British jazz. They will appear on a programme that also includes international visitors from Finland, Holland, Syria, France, Italy, Switzerland and Armenia, alongside some of the best known names in jazz in Ireland.Bray Jazz Festival will take place on Friday-Sunday, 3rd to 5th May next, and will stage headline concerts at Bray’s Mermaid Arts Centre featuring British-Bengali pianist Zoe Rahman, Senegal’s Orchestra Baobab, and a quintet co-led by trumpeter Dave Douglas and British saxophonist Trish Clowes on successive nights.
