Irish Rail has indicated they are working to address capacity issues on the Dublin to Rosslare rail line.
A recent district council meeting heard passengers have been left standing on services at peak times along the route, which stops in Bray, Greystones, Kilcoole, Wicklow Town, Rathdrum and Arklow.
Chief Executive Jim Meade says additional carriages will be delivered over the next two years.
