People who tested positive for the virus in Kildare, West Wicklow and South Dublin will be invited by text to take part.
It’s called the FADA survey, which stands for Follow up after disease acquisition.
It will ask questions relating to when an individual had Covid-19, how their health is now and their recovery.
While this is an online survey, individuals will be contacted by a text message, which will contain a link.
The HSE says it is safe to click on the link for the survey, and clarified that the message will not ask for credit card or PPS numbers, addresses, names or any other personal data.
