Households in Kildare, Meath and Wicklow had the highest electricity bills in the country last year.
Overall, the average household paid €880 in electricity bills in 2023, down 3% on the previous year.
The CSO reports households saw an increase of 28% in their gas bill, with a median annual cost of €1,249.
The lowest electricity bills were in Donegal, Leitrim and Mayo.
