The price of the average second-hand three-bed semi in County Wicklow has increased to €365,000
The price of the average second-hand three-bed semi in County Wicklow has increased to €365,000, up 0.3% from €364,000 in the last three months, according to a national survey by Real Estate Alliance.
Across the county, time taken to sell has fallen by one week to a total of five, the Q2 REA Average House Price Index shows.
The survey shows that across the county, 78% of purchasers were first-time buyers, and 5% of purchasers were from outside of the county. A total of 8% of sales in the county this quarter were attributed to landlords leaving the market.
Average prices in Blessington increased by 1.4% this quarter to €370,000, while this quarter saw Baltinglass prices remain steady at €250,000.“The average price is showing an increase in this quarter due to prices at the lower end of the market performing better than expected,” said Simon Murphy of REA Murphy Baltinglass and Blessington.
