Planning how to spend your Culture Night? Not long to go now! It takes place on Friday, 19th September.
Creative Places Baltinglass is now its fourth year. Check out some of these local listings:
- Singer-songwriter Paddy Casey will headline the main stage in Germaine’s for a special performance. He’ll be joined by two outstanding local artists - Mark Caplice and Kendal Moody. Doors open at 7:30pm.

- Stratford Lodge will this year host ‘LightMotion’ - a participatory dance experience by Go Dance For Change.
- ‘Arts for the Community’ workshops will take place in Baltinglass Library. They'll be co-hosted by Rachel Kane of Wicklow Marketplace and Karen Allison of Crafty Craic Candles. The evening will include ‘Botanical Art’ workshops with Karen Allison, ‘Quilling’ workshops with Olha Dekhtiarchuk, ‘Making a Short Film’ workshops with local film maker John Hughes.
- Local producer Vincent Gethings has curated a line up of traditional Irish music, song and story-telling, featuring musicians Rachel Conlon and Suzie Toomey among others in Timmins’s Bar from 7pm until late.
All events are free! Booking for Paddy Casey at Germaine’s is recommended but not essential.
