County Wicklow has been home to Ireland’s relatively small film industry for a number of decades, but coming soon to Greystones will be a state-of-the-art movie and TV-making facility which could transform the industry for the entire island.
The people behind a new state of the art film and TV studio in Wicklow say it will allow for smaller local productions and major blockbusters.
Planning permission for the 300 million euro Greystones Media Campus was granted last year.
It will be the country's biggest film and TV studio when it's finished.
