The Government's promising to deliver 350 of Ireland's first cost rental homes in Cork and the greater Dublin area in 2021.
The Housing Minister Darragh O'Brien says 35 million euro was made available in the budget to Approved Housing Bodies. The homes will be made available to middle income households with a reduction of at least 25% on open market rental values.
A further 50 cost rental homes at Enniskerry Road in Dun Laoghaire Rathdown are also due to be completed this year.
