Government Aiming To Have 2.5 Million Covid Vaccines Administered Here By The End Of May

That's according to a draft of the revised vaccine plan, which is due to be published early next week.

Work on the 27th revision of the vaccine plan will continue through the weekend.

An age based approach will still be at the centre of the plan.

Head of the HSE Paul Reid says the revision will take into account the latest recommendations from the National Immunisation Advisory Committee.

According to a draft of the revised plan, 2.5 million doses will be administerd by the end of May, 4 million by the end of June and 6 million by the end of July.
