Some local residents in Glenealy say they are opposed to the location for a planned telecommunications mast on the edge of the village.
A planning notice from Eir has been posted to erect the almost 20 metre monopole mast, but some locals say the site will have a negative impact on the area, and that an alternative location should be sourced.
Speaking to East Coast FM’s Morning Show, Annabel Meehan , whose house is located right beside the planned mast, said this site has already been the subject of a number of failed applications in the past.
