A shebeen with around 15 people was closed down in Co Kildare by gardaí last night.
It was found to be in operation in a shed at the rear of a house close to Kildare town at around 8:30pm.
Officers say it had all the 'trappings of a traditional pub' and they seized the alcohol and drink optics.
Investigations are ongoing into the shebeen and a file will be forwarded to the DPP.
