Gardai have renewed their appeal for information in relation to an incident on the M7 in County Kildare last month, in which a man in his 30s was killed.
At around half past nine on Saturday, the 25th of September a vehicle collided with the central median in the northbound carriageway in Naas.
A man left his vehicle to assist with the collision, but was seriously injured when a second vehicle hit the crashed car.
The injured man was taken to Tallaght University Hospital but later passed away.
Officers believe a number of motorists who witnessed the collision have not yet come forward and are appealing for them to contact Gardai at Naas Garda Station.
