Gardai in Kildare are appealing for witnesses following a hit and run in Newbridge.
A woman in her 40s was seriously injured when she was hit by a car at Rosconnell Estate at around 20-past-10 on Monday morning.
It's understood the woman was standing beside a car when she was struck by a passing car, which failed to remain at the scene.
Investigating Gardaí are appealing for information on a blue Ford Focus hatchback.
