A teenage boy has been arrested by Gardai investigating a homophobic attack at a train station in Newbridge County Kildare.
It happened on Friday evening at around twenty to 7 in the evening.
A man in his 20s was stabbed and hospitalised with non-life threatening injuries as a result of the serious assault.
The teenager arrested today is being questioned at Newbridge Garda Station.
A man in his late teens, was also previously arrested as part of the investigation, and a file is being prepared for direction.
Gardai are treating the incident as a possible hate crime.
