A post mortem will take place today on the body of a man in his 40s who died following an assault in west Dublin.
It happened at Ashfield Park estate in Blanchardstown at around 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon.
Two other people, a man and a woman in their 20s, were also seriously injured.
Gardai say the results of today's post mortem will determine the course of the investigation.
