A 15-metre tunnel leading in to an ATM has been discovered in Naas in County Kildare.
Ulster Bank staff made the discovery at the Maxol on the Sallins Road when they went to remove the machine as the bank is leaving Ireland.
It's believed the tunnel may have originated on neighbouring land at the GAA club or school.
Gardaí say they're investigating an attempted burglary, and the exact date of the incident is not known.
The scene was preserved for a technical exam.
