Gardai investigating the discovery of Skeletal remains in Cork at the beginning of the year, are appealing for help from the public.
The remains, believed to be those of a female in her 70’s, were found at a construction site on the Midleton to Youghal Greenway on the 5th January. An item of clothing was also recovered which is described as a white nightdress type garment.
Gardai say the woman was 5’ to 5’ 2” in height, of large frame and wore dentures.
DNA samples have been compared against the National Database, but has failed to return a positive match.
Examinations of missing person’s records have also failed to identify any potential matches.
