Slow down, don't use a mobile phone while on the roads and never drink and drive.
That's the message from Gardai and the Road Safety Authority this long weekend, the force has issued a special appeal.

Both groups are extremely concerned at this year's death toll, its a fifth higher than this point in 2021.
