Investigations are continuing into an assault in Baltinglass last Sunday evening, in which a man sustained serious injuries.
Gardai say a local businessman was assaulted and robbed during the incident. The victim remains in hospital. Sergeant John Fitzpatrick says the assault was witnessed by a number of people and they are anxious to speak with anyone in the area at the time.
