Gardai are continuing to appeal for witnesses to an assault in County Kildare in the early hours of this morning.
A man in his 30s was found with lacerations to his jaw and neck on Eyre Street in Newbridge shortly after half twelve.
He was taken to Tallaght Hospital, and his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
In a follow up operation, gardai arrested two men at an apartment in Powers Court in the town a short time later and they're being questioned at Newbridge Garda Station.
The apartment has been declared a crime scene and is being examined.
