Gardai have described the death of a woman in Arklow, whose body was taken from the sea adjacent to the duck pond in the north of the town yesterday, as a tragic incident.
The body of the woman in her 50s was found at around a quarter to six yesterday evening.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and her body was taken to Loughlinstown Hospital.
