The government is providing an additional €15 million in funding to help local authorities update outdoor infrastructure.
It's ahead of what's expected to be the focus on outdoor activity, as the country gradually reopens in the coming months.
Street pedestrianisation, traffic management and reallocation of road and street space, are among the projects eligible for funding.
