Coillte is set to spend €6,912 on trail maintenance and signage.
The 2023 funding announcement is part of a package of maintenance funding to be spent around County Wicklow at just over €122,000.
Councillor Stephen Stokes wants to see more investment in walking trails.
"We have a growing population in County Wicklow. We need more infrastructure, but we also need to keep an eye on additional outdoor pursuits. Developing eco tourism can also help to create employment opportunities in a sustainable way. As such I support investing in Wicklow trails, such as Kindlestown Woods."
