This funding worth €13,808.20 will benefit six libraries in Wicklow.
Communities across the country are set to be benefit from the initiative – with a particular focus on supporting young people, our elderly and our disadvantaged.
Speaking today, Minister Harris said “I am delighted to announce that Wicklow’s libraries are set to receive extra funding for new computers, laptops and other ICT equipment.
"Our libraries provide vital supports to local residents, especially those coming from disadvantaged communities.”
“It is fantastic that under today’s announcement, funding has been secured for the Arklow, Ballywaltrim, Bray, Blessington, Greystones and Wicklow libraries.”
