An independent TD is calling for a relaxation of Covid-19 restrictions in certain rural areas, to allow the people there return to work.
As of midnight on Monday, there were over 9,000 cases in Dublin - while Leitrim had only reported 67. Deputy Naughten says some rural areas where cases of Covid 19 are very low, could be used as test locations to determine how to move forward with relaxing restrictions in larger areas, where the Coronavirus is more prevalent:
