Gardaí say they are continuing their investigations after the seizure of around €30,000 worth of drugs in Wicklow last Friday, after a traffic stop search carried out as part of Operation Slowdown and follow-up property searches..
The vehicle was searched by Gardaí attached to Newtownmountkennedy Roads Policing Unit, after being stopped on the N11 at Delgany and a large amount of cocaine was discovered.
Along with Gardai from Bray and Greystones, follow up searches were carried out at residential properties in the Dun Laoghaire and Brittas Bay areas, where small amounts of cocaine and ecstasy were discovered.
One man was arrested and charged over the weekend.
