Five Foot Burmese Python Snake Found Abandoned In The Wicklow Mountains

A local farmer raised the alarm after coming across the snake which has been named 'Sammi' by rescuers.

The ISPCA says when the snake was found it was underweight, dehydrated and injured.

It's now been placed in the care of a reptile specialist.
