The 2019 West Wicklow Festival gets underway today, with a special focus on female composers.
This year’s programme also includes works by a host of world renowned composers including Beethoven, Brahms, Schumann and Strauss.
The festival will run until next Sunday, with 15 artists performing at Russborough House and St Mary’s Church in Blessington.
