A new movie starring Russell Crowe is to begin filming in Wicklow and Dublin next month.
Supernatural thriller The Pope's Exorcist portrays a real-life priest Father Gabriele Amorth, who acted as chief exorcist of the Vatican and who performed more than 100,000 exorcisms in his lifetime. Julius Avery, director of 2018's action/horror film Overlord, will helm the project. The film is set in Spain and Italy in 1995.
A call for extras has gone out, looking for people with excellent availability in August and September in Bray and its surrounding area. In particular, the production team are looking for some Mediterranean or South American looking men and women - young and old.
