The European Commissioner for Agriculture, Phil Hogan has revealed to the Irish Farmers Journal that the Commission will put in place tools to nullify the impact of tariffs on local farmers.
He gave a keynote address at the Irish Farmers Journal’s ‘Navigating Global Trade’ Conference in the RDS, Dublin.
Mr Hogan told the event that the Commission stands ready to support farmers in a no-deal Brexit.
