E.C. To Examine Existing Rules For Online Spending

The European Commission is to tighten its rules in the area of online spending.

It says the Covid 19 Pandemic has revealed that purchasing online and the provision of refunds has turned out to be a bad experience for millions of consumers right across the European Union.

A major review into consumer engagement with established and scam operators will get under way in early 2021.
