A 44 year old south Dublin man caught cultivating cannabis plants in Wicklow has been jailed for three years.
Stephen Kenny of Belarmine Hall in Stepaside, pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court yesterday to possession of cannabis for sale or supply and to the cultivation of cannabis at a rented property at Tomdarragh in Roundwood, on the 30th of June in 2016. The total value of the plants, material and Cannabis herb was just under €140,000.
According to the Dublin People newspaper, the father of five has six previous convictions .Yesterday he was given a five year sentence with the final two suspended.
