Investigations are underway into the cause of a fatal house fire in Dublin.
Garda forensic teams are examining the scene of the blaze on the Dundrum Road in Milltown, which broke out just before 4pm.
A man in his eighties was pulled from the property by firefighters, but efforts to resuscitate him failed.
A woman in her eighties was also rescued from the house, and is being treated at St Vincent's Hospital.
