Dublin Airport Look To Introduce Paid Drop Off/Pick Up Zones

The airport says the money will be invested in a proposed solar farm, low emission vehicles, and extra electric car charging points.

It’s the second attempt by daa to introduce the system after planning permission was refused in February.

The DAA says its about reducing car journeys and encouraging more passengers onto public transport.

There’ll be special provision for people with reduced mobility, a free drop off and pick up area in the red long term car park – and a new reduced fee 30 minute parking period in the short term car parks.
