Details Announced For Bray's Katie Taylor First Irish Professional Fight

Her promoter Eddie Hearn says Taylor's homecoming is likely to happen at Dublin's 3 Arena instead of Croke Park.

Hearn claims the cost of staging a card at GAA H-Q is three times more expensive than Wembley Stadium.

Taylor's likely opponent on May 20th will be Amanda Serrano, but that depends on the Puerto Rican beating Erika Cruz on Saturday.

Croke Park Stadium Director Peter McKenna says security costs got in the way of staging a Katie Taylor fight there in May.

Her promoter Eddie Hearn claimed last night that Croke Park were requesting more than the price to rent Wembley Stadium in London.

McKenna says their fee is in line with that of Wembley, but there were mitigating factors.
