East Coast FM’s Declan Meehan is one of the recipients of The Bray and District Chamber of Commerce Endeavour Awards.
Due to the ongoing Covid restrictions this year’s awards had to adopt a different approach, with the events going virtual.
Some of the winners were presented with their awards last October, but today the chamber presented the Bray Person of the Year award to the morning show presenter Declan Meehan..
Declan has been broadcasting from his home since last March, but was tricked into coming to the studio to receive his award at a social distance event in the station’s car park, where he expressed his surprise and delight at receiving the award.
