The Dublin and Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team came to the aide of a cyclist who had came off the road in the Sally Gap over the weekend.On Sunday afternoon at approximately 1:45pm two personnel from the rescue team were driving along the Military Road and spotted a cyclist.It’s understood there was an incident and the cyclist, a man in his 40s, came off the road and entered a ditch.Mountain Rescue assessed the casualty until the National Ambulance Service arrived on the scene to provide medical intervention.The Wicklow Fire Service were also in attendance to the callout, which is the 29th so far this year.
