She’s been connected to charitable or community art circles via the Jack & Jill Foundation art sale in the past and is well known in her local north Wicklow base for her expressive and exceptional works.
The charity has offered platforms for early‑career artists or emerging creative's such as the talented young Greystones woman.
Her oil portrait Minerva celebrates the modern woman.
Jill told the National Gallery...
"The portrait references Manet’s Olympia and Titian’s Venus of Urbino. Both artworks reflect their societies’ views of women at the time. My intention with this piece is to represent the modern woman. It is titled Minerva, after the Roman goddess of wisdom, as a contrast to Venus, who symbolizes fertility and desire.".
She received a personalised art-materials box and €250. The National Gallery announced all prize winners on the 25th of November 2025.
