The HSE is warning that the number of people in intensive care with Covid-19 may soon exceed the previous peak of 155.
There are 1,151 people in hospital with the virus this morning, a new record for the third day in a row.
That includes 101 people in ICU, the highest figure since April.The HSE's Chief Operations Officer Anne O'Connor says hospitals are coping, but only because non-covid care has been scaled back.
