There are 393 new cases of Covid-19 and eight additional deaths.
173 of the cases are in Dublin, with 42 in Cork, 34 in Kildare, 26 in Donegal, 15 in Meath and the remaining 103 cases are spread across 20 other counties.
There are 131 patients in hospital with the virus and 36 in intensive care.
The five-day moving average has fallen to 410 and the 14-day incidence rate is 130 cases per 100,000 people.
