Continued Maternity Hospital Restrictions On Partners Leads To Dail Protest

A protest is taking place outside the Dail today demanding the Health Minister end partner restrictions in maternity services

Today's march, organised by BetterMaternityCare, comes as partners continue to be denied visiting access at a number of units.
That's despite updated HSE guidance and a commitment from Minister Stephen Donnelly that they would all follow them.

The Association to Improve Maternity Services is calling on the Minister for Health to publish the risk assessments that are underpinning the ongoing maternity care restrictions being imposed for partners of women in labour.
