The number of residential centres for people with disabilities dealing with coronavirus outbreaks has nearly tripled in the last week, according to new figures.
Inclusion Ireland has been informed of 10 covid-19 related deaths in disability services since the coronavirus crisis began:
The group, which represents people with intellectual disabilities and their families, has been told by the Health Minister that 90 per cent of disability services are coronavirus-free.
It has been assured that detailed data is being collected on people with disabilities in respect of COVID-19 and it will be shared on a regular basis.
